Consequence™ by Impello Biosciences is a chitosan-based biopesticide that functions as a fungicide, nematicide, and bactericide. Derived from fungal cell walls, it provides dual action by directly inhibiting pathogens and activating plant defense systems such as systemic acquired resistance (SAR) and induced systemic resistance (ISR). With 5% chitosan, it strengthens cell walls, enhances root growth, improves nutrient uptake, and increases tolerance to environmental stress. Environmentally safe and biodegradable, Consequence™ is compatible with integrated pest management programs and can be applied as a foliar spray, soil drench, or seed treatment across various crops.
